Who We Are
At the Scottish Universities Neurological Society (SUNS), we aim to promote education and research excellence in neurology, neurosurgery and clincial neurosciences. Our organisation is dedicated to organising national events, and creating a vibrant network for students interested in clinical neurosciences and professionals across the Scottish universities.
Our Mission
SUNS is dedicated to:
- Promoting interest in research in the fields of neurology, neurosurgery and clinical neurosciences
- Providing support to students interested in clinical neurosciences through learning aids and career development opportunities
- Encouraging an evidence-based approach to the study of clinical neurosciences
- Assisting the academic growth of students in the field
Our Ethos
At SUNS, we believe in inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation. We welcome all students to join our activities to explore clinical neurosciences on a larger scale. We envision fostering a supportive environment where students can share knowledge, gain hands-on experience and engage in impactful research. Our membership and events* are all available for free to allow for full accessibility
